Family tradition

Antica Cantina Leonardi was born from a reference to the roots: following a trip to the Americas in search of new fortune, the founder, Domenico, returns to Montefiascone to found what is today considered the oldest and most prestigious winery in the area.

Volcanic earth

The area of Lake Bolsena was born from the eruption of a volcano which occurred more than 300,000 years ago.

This peculiarity makes the tuff soils rich in potassium and minerals. They contain traces of lapillus, as well as fragments of solidified lava, due to intercalderic activity.

Wine is the result of human processing and the expression of the territory.

Thanks to its centenary experience, Antica Cantina Leonardi has developed, over the years, a deep relationship with its land. Wine production is an expression of this winning combination.
